Hi Dimwit,
I have read so many blogs on child labour last few days dat I dunno which one is genuine.....
sometimes too much passion abt something leads to contriteness.....n artificiality. Like as if emotions cloud the thinking process. Dis blog too was not an exception, for me.
Dunno....dat Madhuri incident had me thinking the same way. Hopefully am wrong.

Liked the honesty in dis one.....We have these strifes abt adoption (no conflicts abt sponsoring a child). Some families r totally against dat idea.....P is one of them.
I have mixed feelings abt adoption....we can only do so much for a child and I know of some weird adoptions dat did not go thru successfully (but I also know of successful adoptions....am a pessemist at times! 
).....feel bad for them kids. And in the U.S.A, I have heard of 'foster care' which can be even worse than adoption.

Good coverage on lots of issues.
Having stayed in India for many years (and in the U.S.A for quite a few yrs too), I can safely say that India is home to some of the most prejudiced, divided and racist ppl. We get wat we throw at others........
But some beliefs r blindly followed......ppl assume dat a dark-skinned Konkona or Nandita is an intelligent actress compared to Aishwara etc.....*that* too is a prejudice. As a corollary, while u have tried to be politically-correct in dis blog (well, who isn't, these days?!), there's been a slip or more at times, as is evident from the writeup. Hope u take dis comment lightly.
