Meera,
Yea, me neither.....but hub likes to eat out and he likes 'Asian' cuisine. Banana Leaf is a fav restaurant of his......I simply hatedddd dat restaurant......Have u been to Komala vilas? Its quite good! :)
Bhiku,
haha......i forgot the older (and wiser) factor. Maybe dat is the reason! It has become a mental block - eating out. Hate P F Chang's is a good phrase.....I agree
Desi restaurants truly r horrible and unscrupulous/dirty/arrogant service.

as i wrote earlier, conveniently using religion to impose rules is bad......but using HUMANITY to impose rules is not. Anyhow, everyone uses religion for these kinda ulterior motives......so right/wrong is simply a set of rules known as 'religion'. Take what one likes, discard the rest seems to be the norm. So am just voicing my opinion here. Cow slaughter must stop......i'd be willing to sign a petition for dis too....
so there....
Anne,
Yes, i think hygiene is terrible at most of those places....
Injera INJERIOUS is a cool phrase haa!!
Yes, I hear dat some of the seafood places like Legal Seafood, Fridays etc r quite good....if only I cud start eating some seafood now....or someday!
Yup, Pune restaurants.....yummmmy...! quite hygienic too...
Kalyanee
BB,
good to know u agree....hehe...I was expecing a longer crib from u!
Re food, am not as adventurous as some ppl i know.....who r true-blue foodies.
Kalyanee
Meera,
Ur 'Madhumita' series is intriguing.....liked the paintings in some of the blogs....esp the Radha one in the first blog.
whos dat dancer lady? She looks realllly funny for some reason.....

Gowser,
from dis blog, my understanding is dat the emphasis was only on whether 'Spoken english' matters....it is *not* about whether 'good communication skills' - in English or any other language...are valuable. Maybe Amb3006 can clarify.
Dimwit.....yes, sometimes the dreams n reality segregate....
we imagine ourselves to be having those personality traits we would 'like' to have....when in reality we r drifting away from those very traits.....
on the other hand, 'captive' ppl we think r bound and limted by their thoughts and lifestyles, somehow get it all in place like them locks unlocking synchronously....to pave the path ahead to wat seems like a good, fulfilled life to me...the very thing i wanted in the first place!........
In the end, more than choices, it is following ones instinct I guess...like dat Sunil dumdum story I wrote some months back.....
anyhow, as usual i've drifted away from ur blog.
Restaurants and Eating Out
Enzo,
Yes, for me it has become a mental block, unless it is desserts am trying......from different cuisines, esp the European types. Yeah, depends on *which* restaurant one eats.....Thai (some dishes) r good at some places....my crib is more abt Chinese/Japanese/Vietnamese etc dishes, not Thai, which has dat sweet-tangy taste that is familiar to Indian.
